History

Jacque was born to an overbearing Hyur father and a caring, but timid, Huyr mother. He studied magitek, becoming one of the best mechanics in Garlemald, defying his father's wishes.When Jacque learned that the magitek devices he was building were being used against other Eorzeans; he immediately defected and left for Limsa Lominsa under the veil of darkness.In Limsa, Jacque learned of the Machinists Guild in Ishgard, learning under the guidance of Stephanivien de Haillenarte; becoming one of the premire weaponsmiths/machinist in Ishgard, surprising even Stephanivien.When the Machinists Guild hung a missive, from the leaders of Eorzea's city-states, stating a need for adventurers to help fight Garleans, Jacque was one of the first to sign up.Using his mechanic skills and proficiency with a firearm, Jacque follows all other adventurers in helping quell the advance of Garlemald.In his spare time, he created the LEGBTQ+ positive safe bathhouse and hangout known as Iron Scrapyard. It's to let people have a safe space where they are not judged or just need someone to listen to. He knows how hard it is to feel accepted, so he wants everyone to know they are welcomed and that they can talk to him about anything and he'll be there to listen.
